Long day for my work retreat but so thankful for this time with my team and the fellowship. No walk today but a few of us are getting up early to go for a walk in the morning.

Headed to a management retreat for the next few days for work . Told my coworkers to pack their shoes so we can go for a walk. They’re all in! I hope everyone had a great day today.

Wasn’t sure I was going to get a walk in today. Long day of work, got a workout in at home. Then I ended up having time for a walk. I only had 80 oz of water when I got home from work at 6pm. So I chugged some water and I got my gallon in by 8:30. That better not back fire in the middle of the night lol.

This is so relatable. My husband has a strained relationship with his mom, so avoids any talk of mother’s day. When my kids were young and unable to do things for me on their own I always felt so much disappointment. I had to teach myself to have zero expectations. But you know what, happy mother’s day! You are a great mom. 🤎

Today was great until it wasn’t. Parenting teens is hard. It’s hard when they screw up and you’re angry and disappointed in them. It’s hard to watch them be disappointed in themselves too. But all is fine and tomorrow is a new day.
