Follow up on my introductory post!
      The journey to losing 100
      The Fails
      deep calorie deficits
Unnecessary Intermittent fasting – frequency and length of time. .
Going from diet to diet when hitting the loss wall! Some diets were better than others but!
Not really paying attention to nutritional values.. focused on the weight loss.
Overtraining without proper recovery. Lack of Sleep, rest days (0 rest days), lack of nutrition (this came a little later).
The gains and progress that was left on the table by not seeking out solid training advice at the start.

      The Successes!
Started low impact and eased into lifting and running.
Counseling/therapy for stress and anxiety . Therapy most likely kept my obsessive leanings in some degree of check.
18 months I went to work, trained – lifting and running (once I was able to) , read and focused on mental and spiritual improvements. I had no social interactions outside of the gym and work. I lived alone and could dedicate the time. Some may view this as a negative.
About 6 months in, started to focus the importance of dietary balance. Though I wasn’t counting macros at the time I def started to pay more attention protein while keeping fats and carbs in moderation.
The end result I was 100 lbs down.
I kept the weight in check through continued training and not letting my daily calories get out of hand while keeping protein intake around 200 grams per day. Around the first part of 2020 I was playing around with macros but not seriously. In mid 2020 I came across the Key Nutrition podcast and the things Brad discussed tied everything together! The 4 legs!!! Been a fan every since.

Why did I join? The past 5 years I have been self programming and meal planning and made plenty of mistakes and have plenty to learn ! I trust Brad and his info and know The Key Collective is going to be great!
