      @bradjensen Question,
      What are the cons of having coffee right after you have taken Creatine if any? I have been hearing that caffeine can affect it. I can give more detail if needed. I workout in the mornings and also love my couple of coffees in the morning.
      This question is open to anyone really. Happy Friday everyone😊

      • Oh! I didn’t know that! I’d love to know too! I mix creatine in my pre workout 🤭

      • Hey brother! I’ll have to dive more into the literature, but I don’t remember ever hearing that those two can counteract one another

      • This is not coming from a medical journal just from being a nurse, Creatine and caffeine are both ergogenic aids, meaning they both help improve exercise performance in some way.
        Having more creatine available in the muscles during resistance workouts can help you put in more reps over time, which can translate to faster muscle growth and improved body composition.
        As an ergogenic aid, caffeine works very differently. It’s thought to stimulate the sympathetic nervous system, increasing heart rate and breathing ability. Caffeine tends to be more effective for endurance activities like running and cycling.
        Creatine is safe to take in doses of up to 30 grams per day. The FDA states that caffeine consumption is safe for most people when limited to no more than 400 milligrams per day. This is the equivalent of about three to five cups of coffee, depending on how strong you make it.
        There are no dangerous effects of these when taken together.
        Mixing creatine and coffee could cause digestive discomfort.
        Does this help at all? Of course, Brad is the one who can do the research and tell us all the facts.

      • I had heard this a few years ago and stopped. I used to mix it with my coffee and protein. Just read this article and it says that was older research. Newer research says there isn’t an issue and more research is needed. https://www.healthline.com/health/creatine-and-caffeine
