Lunch super yummy and actually plated pretty today so had to share. Flank steak veggie wrap. Added extra protein (inspiration from Brad’s Collective call yesterday… ) & more veggies on the side – delish! Fast and easy to make – flank steak, broccoli, asparagus, & pepita drizzle made ahead. Just slice a few fresh veggies, toast in the wrap and…Read More

Ready to give it my all for the next 7 weeks. I was not even trying to be in a deficit while finishing my marathon training and couple days of recovery. That is over now and I am excited to see what I can accomplish by remaining vigilant and consistent with my macros and staying in a deficit. I hope it is going well for the rest of you. Keep up…Read More

A marathon ‘was’ on my bucket list — have done a couple half marathons and loved them. Not sure now…-

No point today! Visited my fiancés grandparents in the evening and the amount of classic Macedonian food they made was unreal and so delish! Tried to track the best I could but those baba’s make up their own recipes! Looking at my overall week, I maintained a calorie deficit and stayed up on my protein! Not perfect but thinking of this group he…Read More

To be honest, the only person I’m competing against here is myself. I don’t need to “win” the challenge – the win for me would be losing some weight and staying consistent and accountable overall. I like that this challenge is 8 weeks instead of 4. It feels more like a long haul instead of a temporary intensity!

I never thought I’d say this, but it was hard to get food in today. I just didn’t want to eat, but I met my goals today. So it’s off to bed! I’m ready for sleep!
-
I feel you! Sometimes your body is so off and just not hungry! Good job for getting it in. I think it’s pretty important. I used to do it a lot and I would binge like crazzzy

Most of the day at the hospital with my mom who had surgery. Not my best but not my worst.

Sorry you were in the hospital all day. Hope your mum recovers well. 👍🏽

Paleo chicken, roasted broccoli and jasmine rice for dinner. This is soooo yummy!

Done for the day. Not much to say about the day really, just still learning this high protein way of eating. I’m looking forward to watching Brad’s call recording. PS my calories aren’t under – it’s the Lose It app trying to award me extras for walking. I was actually a little over.

I can’t wait to hear the replay of the call! Any favorite takeaways?!

May need to tweak my macros a bit since I’m consistently over protein….

Another successful day. Another migraine creeping up on me but learning to live with them as much as they suck. Every dr wants to throw a million meds at me and I just cannot. Gonna ice and close my eyes. Everyone is kicking butt in this challenge. Keep showing up, y’all inspire me.

Headaches can be a real bitch! I feel ya! I am struggleing with them

Ou. Sorry about your migranes 😢 I wish I knew what you could do. A while ago I had very bad neck tension that caused migraine. You may have exhausted this option already but My chiropractor helped with them and eventually went away 😕
-
Hope you get some relief soon, Mandy. That stinks. My mom had bad migraines and I still have memories or how she suffered.

My favourite snack! Just plain Greek yogurt and a cup of frozen berries that I microwave 🤤

This looks good. I need to add more fruit to my diet (this diet) for sure. My kids eat approx. $2,456 a week in berries so I always have them 🤣
-
I’ve been eating frozen berries every night after dinner – one of my favs!
-
That is one of my go-to snacks as well. I eat dairy free Greek yogurt with berries — and often throw some All Bran Buds on top for some crunch and extra fiber. It is Sooooo delicious.

Yesterdays macros. I may not get points for this but it is helping me stay accountable.
