This was a beautiful evening for a walk, cool with a nice breeze. The wildflowers are blooming and life is good.

We have loved all the pics from your walks Michelle! They have all been so beautiful.

Lovely lunch time walk. Im definitely a summer person, I love the heat and sun and being out in it. So many of these daily tasks for the 30 day challenge aren’t tasks anymore. They’re just a thing I do without thinking about it. Walking is definitely something I do when it’s nice out. This last winter I did force myself to go even when it was c…Read More

Day 30 🙌
Wow, I woke up today feeling empowered and excited. Not because it was the final day of the challenge but because I built and was committed to these habits. I can’t say new as I have done them before but never consistent with them. What I learned from the challenge is that I feel vibrant and happy when I do these habits. I plan to keep…Read More3 Comments-
I gotta second that on warming up before the cold shower. It’s extra sucky when you’re already cold! LFG!

Late night at the ballgame last night, so was a little spent today. But glad my kiddo wanted to walk with me this evening!

Day 29 done. It was windy and a little cold. Ended the evening watching my son play baseball.
-
I got to watch my son play too! My favorite nights are the ones at the ballpark

Ending the day walking around our neighborhood. Thankful that my three kids wanted to join me.

That’s awesome they wanted to join you! They’re seeing what you’re doing!!

Nice walk at lunch. Busy weekend coming up. My daughter is coming home tomorrow for the weekend. My niece has HS graduation and her grad party. I’m low on water for today and I’ve got the headache to prove it. So I’m trying to catch up this evening.

Took a walk right after work in my scrubs. I knew if I came home to change I wouldn’t leave again.

Yesterday started out well, then the wind and rain started. My area was hit hard, I’m not clear of there was a tornado or if it was straight line wind. My apartment wasn’t badly damaged, just a small roof leak so I’m grateful for that. Most of my to do’s didn’t get done but I’m very grateful today.
-
Glad everything is OK. Some days are like that, we don’t get all the things done, but we are reminded of the really big important things in life.
-
We are glad to hear that you are alright! Also, way to look on the bright side and practice gratitude

Day 29,
Being consistent these last 29 days has what has kept me going. There have been some hurdles throughout them but with strength and determination I was able to overcome the hurdle and stay consistent with the habits. Nothing Extreme just consistent.
The countdown is on to the final hours. What I can say is most of these days I have felt…Read More -
I have kinda fell off the wagon with my nutrition and fitness. I took a few months off of doing squats and deadlifts to allow my groin time to heal. I believe I’m all healed up and I have been working on getting my strength back up. I have a powerlifting competition in October that I’m hoping to do. I only have partial use of my right hand and los…Read More

Day 28 done. Over the last week or so I haven’t put a ton of effort in to my gratitude practice. I was mostly just quickly checking the box, so yesterday I decided that for the last days of the challenge I was going to put some extra effort into my gratitude. It’s only been two days, but it has already made a difference. I have so much to be…Read More

I love that! It’s during the times where expressing gratitude is most difficult, it can be the most helpful. We hope things are going great for you today Alyssa!

Got a walk in at lunch right before it started raining. Nice quiet peaceful walk today. Getting ready for the gym now to get a good leg day in. It was the most Mondayest Tuesday ever, so I’m glad to get to go workout now.

Doing my best. We can choose to see the positives when difficult times arise. Let’s keep strong!

We are coming to the end of the 30 Day Challenge…. I’M NOT READY!!!
How is everybody feeling?!?
-
Feeling great! I want to continue most of these habits. I might drop the water down to 100 oz which would still be more than enough for me. I love the walking, but will want to do other outdoor activities instead sometimes.

Finished day 27. It was sunny and warm and I enjoyed every minute!

Day 27 Complete
Well i saved my walk until later on in the evening as it had been raining most of the day here. I am grateful and blessed that someone was watching over me to stop the rain for 33 mins.God Bless and have a great night

Had a lovely walk outside today, little one the windy side but still really nice. Spent some time outside beyond my walk as well and it was refreshing. For meditation I’ve been using either a guided meditation or meditation music. Typically in my room with earbuds in. Today I sat in my swing under a tree. Nothing but the sounds of nature, wind r…Read More

Yesterday, I did all the things, but completely forgot to fill out the tracker or come here to post. 🤦🏻♀️
I just watched the live on Time Management, good stuff! And I watched the Mel Robbins 5” clip on the 5 second rule and that was excellent! Especially I am guilty of being a snoozer. I think I will just snooze once then do the 5 seconds a…Read More

Yesterday wasn’t my best day because we were on the road driving back from Nashville, but today WILL be a better day. I had some hiccups today. Had to take my youngest to urgent care, but we are home with meds now. As soon as I got home, I filled up my water and started my workout, which by the way kicked my butt. I was also totally behind on my w…Read More

I didn’t walk yesterday but this is where I stopped to rest 85 minutes into my walk today. Now it’s just 3.77 miles back to my car.

Wrapping up my day. My children are exhausting, but some fresh air does us all good!

What’s a good alternative to a machine leg curl? The gym I go to doesn’t have a machine leg curl. Thanks!
-
You could do a dumbbell hamstring curl (Google the form for sure) or, we could do any form of an RDL If the program doesn’t already have that in it. We are just looking to target the hamstrings.
-
-
Me too! That’s already in the program though. This is the 4 day split program.

Day 26 is done. It finally warmed up a little bit and tomorrow is supposed to be in the 70’s. I’m really looking forward to it!
-
It’s been rainy and chilly all day today. My husband and son were messing around in the garage on one of the trucks so the house was quiet. My dog and I had a glorious nap. It was a nice day to get some things done around the house since it was raining.
-
I missed the mark on a couple of things but I spent the day with my grandkids and daughters. We all had a good time together with a lot of laughter and ended the evening with all 5 of us on the couch with fuzzy blankets watching a movie before bed. The kids are leaving in the morning so I’m soaking up every minute with them. Back on track tomorrow.

I finished reading my book!!!! This is the first book I’ve stuck to reading and actually finished in years!!!

the walking we did today. -
My 30 min today, courtesy of chasing my kids around the local zoo. Weather was perfect! Great way to spend Saturday of a long weekend!
-
Spend so much time outside today soaking up the natural Vitamin D! It’s going to rain most of the next 2 days, so I tried to soak up as much as possible. I hope everyone had a lovely Saturday and got to enjoy it with the ones you love.
-
Nothing like getting everything in last minute! Today got away from me, but I was able to complete everything, just a tad later than usual!
-
My husband and younger kids did an outdoor archery shoot today so I went and walked the course with them. It was a little windy, but it was so nice to be outside for a few hours without rain or snow.

I did a lot of indoor walking today at an aquarium and Legoland. I wasn’t sure how hat I was going to get an outdoor walk in but we went to the park so I could get in 30 minutes outside while the kids were on the playground. Now I’m struggling to get in the water and I’ll probably be in the bathroom all night but you do what you’ve gotta do

I went hiking today with 2 friends who I haven’t seen for a few years. On the trail, I was saddened to see this magnificent tree toppled. It is a rather famous hollow tree. Everyone who did this hike would have their picture taken inside the perfect doorway into the tree. It looks smaller in the first photo, but the second shows its large diameter.

Day 25 Complete
We keep rollin on weekends.
Glad the rain stopped in time to get the walk in
Hope all of you have a great Long weekendStay Focused

Any plans for a mobility program or some sequences for stretching? I use peloton in the winter months pretty much just for all of the mobility, stretching and foam rolling classes.
-
For the next couple of days I will be getting my walk in out in Nashville. Came out here with some girlfriends for the weekend. I got like triple the amount of steps I normally get at home. I was very proud of myself with my water intake. I was worried I wouldn’t be able to accomplish that part, but it was way easier than expected. We ended our n…Read More
