I took my kids to a Waterpark today so I had to be really intentional about my protein, but the steps were easy.
-
Took a nice walk tonight with no headphones or music. Who else enjoys walking and talking to yourself?
-
Got all my steps and FINALLY hit my protein! Now to do it 2 days in a row.

Got my steps in at the office and then with 2 hours of mowing and garden work including fighting with blackberry vines. Now it is teaser time in the couch.
-
I was able to get 2 walks outside today in the heat. I just walked around outside in the shade. It was at a slow pace but I got it done.
-
Got all my steps in! Unfortunately didn’t go outside today as it rained alllllll day, tropical storms are rolling in from Florida!
-
Great day! I had to break up my walk into two and my oldest daughter joined me for the second one. I also hit my protein!
-
I love that your daughter walked with you You are a great example for her

-
I had a great day! Got my steps in and almost got my protein. Not bad for a Monday.

I did it! Hit my protein. The end. Goodnight.

I have over 10000 steps in today but I want to get a 15 minute walk to get my 45 minutes outside I am letting it cool down a little. I am committed to get it done

-
Today I realllllly had to work hard for my steps. I only had 2600 at 6pm😅 hour long outdoor walk to get me past 10k!!
-
Very productive morning! Woke up early to go on a walk with my husband before he headed to work. I got my workout
in after her left and the kids and I met up with friends at the bowling alley. Because I got the majority of my steps in so early, I only had to walk two laps around the church parking lot while my daughter had volleyball practice…Read More1 Comment -
We had a nice little thunderstorm this afternoon that cooled things off for a while, but the temperature shot back up pretty quickly and now it’s just hot and humid. Thankfully I walked this morning and didn’t need to make up steps tonight. Protein was also good today, but tomorrow I’m taking my kids on a quick trip before school starts so I’ll…Read More

Strong finish to the day and the weekend. Steps are consistently over 12k. On my honor, I WILL HIT PROTEIN TOMORROW.

Sunday project was cleaning out my closet. It felt so great to get it done. But it wasn’t a high step activity. So after dinner took a nice walk since it had finally cooled off a bit. Happy Sunday!
-
End of a wonderful weekend. I got 11000 steps in and ate within my macros all weekend. This is definitely a win for me because the weekends are not as structured and it is easy to get off track.
-
That is a huge win! Especially Summer weekends. Keep it up Lori!
-
-
Sunday is my laundry day, with my walk this morning and carrying laundry up and down the stairs, it wasn’t a struggle to get my steps in. 😊
-
Doing house chores and yard work is a surprisingly good way to get a lot of steps in.
-
-
I was worried I wouldn’t get all my steps in because I didn’t even have 2,000 by the time we got home from church. Thankfully my husband motivated me and said he would join me on my walk. I ended the day with just under 11,000 steps. 🙌🏽
-
It is so awesome when we have a partner who joins us in our journey
-
I love this – love when we have outside motivators! way to go and do it together!

-
Beautiful walk! Hope everyone had a great weekend 💪🏼

Day three and I finally got out for a walk! I haven’t been the best with getting out for a walk even though I’m hitting 10k+ steps a day so proud I got to it today.
Gonna have a creami to finish off protein and will hit all goals 🤗

Well I got my steps in but I did not leave early enough. It was a sweaty sweaty walk. I was pretty close on my protein but not quite there. I have to make that a priority tomorrow. And for the rest of my days. 😆

ughhh the only thing I am struggling with is how hot and muggy it is outside. even at night or in the morning!
-
I hit all my goals today starting with a walk this morning before it got too hot. It feels good to have a good weekend instead of a weak end

Hit the step goal today! Had a date day with my husband, tracked everything! Went 78cals over and 20g under on protein!
-
Hit my goals again today. I woke up this morning and got a hike in before it got too hot. Finishing my steps early in the day made it so I could pay attention to my protein goals. I got a good amount of protein prepped for lunches next week, which should make those goals a little easier for a few days.
-
I love hiking also Good job on the meal prepping That is my plan for tomorrow
-
Hit both my protein goal and steps today. My family joined me for some of my walks too. I was hoping to wake up early to go on my walk before it got too hot, but this is usually the only day I get to sleep in during the week. It felt great and I woke up to my oldest making us breakfast.

I got closer to my protein goal today. Way surpassed my steps. So glad I was able to get out early. Gonna have to make sure I do that tomorrow as well as it will be hot!

We have best luck getting them in early as well. It’s less hot and not as many things that can get in the way. Keep up the good work Kellie!

Two outdoor walls today to get to that 10k!!
-
Your walk looked beautiful! We could have used some of those trees for our walk yesterday. Keep it up!
-
-
Just got home from a baseball game and happy to have surpassed my steps two days in a row. My protein was under today, but it’s okay. I’ll get it tomorrow.

Love to see you pushing yourself past the requirement Aracely! Keep it up!

Day 2. I’m traveling, but I got most of my steps in this morning and got a good amount of protein in early. So I was able to hit my targets.
-
Day 2 I just got home from work and am going to wait a little while before getting my evening walk in as it is currently 95 degrees. My protein is on target. How did everyone’s day go today?
-
Keep it up Lori! It was a hot day here in Salt Lake, evening walk was a the move for us!

I’m so excited there is a new challenge!! I will be participating!
Love all the challenges because it gives me ANOTHER level of accountability which I can always use & am all for. My current daily step goal is 12,000 so hopefully I’ll get all 31 days!

14k before work.
That was much needed. Now to hit that protein number!
Have an amazing day everyone.2 Comments -
Day 1! I am hoping every day goes like this! Easy to get my steps in and a nice walk with the dogs. I didn’t quite hit my protein goal but I might need a couple days to dial that in. Looking forward to Day 2.
-
Two outdoor walks today to get that 10k goal! I’m on orientation this week for work which involves sitting all day and modules. I really had to be intentional with steps and prioritizing them 🙂

almost more rewarding when we get it and had to be super intentional about it. Let’s go Lauren!

Hello! My name is Aracely and I’m currently living in Kentucky. I’m happy to be joining this challenge. I took a break in tracking my macros for the summer, but have continued with my workouts and trying to eat as close to how I eat when I am tracking. I’ve been struggling to get 7,500 steps in the last month, so I’m using this to give me that pu…Read More

Hi my name is Lauren! I am in North Carolina! I am very excited to start the step challenge. My step goals lately have been lower than normal. Been getting 7kish instead of my usual 10! Happy to have to group to hold me accountable 🙂

Let’s get to know each other! Anyone that is doing the challenge, please introduce yourself and what you hope to accomplish from this challenge.

Hi! My name is Kellie and I live in Southern California. I am looking forward to this challenge making sure I’m at least walking on the days that I don’t work out. If it is an off day I tend to take it totally off. From doing anything. 😬 So this will make sure I’m moving my body even if it is a day of rest from a workout. And the protein…Read More

Hi everyone! My name is Rafe and I live in Beaverton, Oregon (just outside of Portland) and am originally from South Dakota. I am excited to stack this challenge on top of my other goals to be able to get healthier and keep up with my wife and girls!

Tracking is so hard for me as well. I started on the last challenge and I’m doing pretty well for the first time ever! We can do it!!!

I’m Alyssa, and I’m hoping to keep dialed in on my fitness goals as my family transitions from summer to heading back to school. Paying attention to protein and movement will hopefully be a simple way to keep everything from completely falling apart. I’m not always great with transitions so this challenge came at the perfect time.
-
Yeah I’m dreading the transition as well. I’m also hoping this keeps me from struggling as much.

I have a question regarding the 45 minute outside activity. Can that be split up? I usually take a few 20-30 minutes walk a day

I wanted to post the 7 S’s of Success from Jeremy’s call for you all
(Prestep) Get clear on your vision, what do you want
1. Show Up
2. See it / Be Present / Look for opportunities
3. Say it / Be Vulnerable
4. Seize it / claim what is yours
5. Study it / What’s working vs What’s not working
6. Shift it / we need to make changes -…Read More -

I really enjoyed Jeremy’s talk. It really got me thinking about what I want. @cass was exactly right when she said that is where most people get stuck. But he brought up so many things that my brain was just flooded. I didn’t want to share because I wasn’t sure I could articulate all I was thinking. I’ve made big changes in my life and have been successful. So why can’t I now? What was different about those things that I just did it? And I think it is because they were forced. Something else happened that forced me to go in a different direction. It wasn’t a choice. Well, at the time it didn’t feel like a choice. I had to go in a different direction because of other people’s choices, but I still had choice as to what I was going to do. And I did. And I did well. It’s the figuring out what to do when I’m not being “forced”. Except maybe it wasn’t forced. I was just being presented with an opportunity. It didn’t feel like that at the time but in hindsight, it was an opportunity. So maybe, I start looking around for opportunities.

I do!!! I get a lot of stuff worked out that way. I practice hard conversations I need to have. Work out problems I’m having a work. Sometimes I just narrate what’s happening for my dogs.
