Busy day but got all my steps and 45 min outdoor activity!
-
Busy day today at work and I did not walk outside as much as I usually do but I made sure to get my 11000 steps in
-
Proud of all you guys for crushing your step goals!
Also, Lots of new recipes have been added. As well as a new at home Dumbbell only work out program.. Multiple programs coming in the next week. Both gym and at home.
Lastly, You’re not gonna want to miss the call this week with one of my spiritual mentors and overall bad ass humans, Frank Young

My kids started school today. Yesterday we did our best to fit in some fun stuff and then got things ready for today. I checked steps last night, saw I had over 10,000 and promptly fell asleep. So I missed posting here. 🤷♀️

Had a very busy weekend moving 2 kids into college. I fell a few k steps shy each day. Lost track of time and basically didn’t eat but 1 big meal. I ran into a powerlifting meet director and he tried to convince me into competing on Oct 5, pretty much 1 month before the world finals in Vegas. I told him that I would try… so, guess I better get bac…Read More

Never miss a Monday I got my steps in. I have about 1000 to go for my personal goal of 11000. I will get it done

Busy day at work! Got my steps in, was too busy to eat my snack so low on protein. Didn’t want to overstuff metaled by eating a big snack after dinner when I got home (it was already 8:30pm)
-
My oldest had volleyball practice this evening, so I walked around the parking lot, while my youngest was on her skates. I met my protein goal today! 🙌🏽
-
A great Sunday! Walked the dogs, enjoyed the nice weather and the had a lazy rest of the day interrupted only by the 48 loads of laundry I had. 😳. How 3 people generate so much laundry just baffles me. Here’s to a great week everyone!!!
-
Amazing sunrise today followed by near floods from the quick heavy rain. Good to get out and move on a somewhat lazy Sunday.

I slept in and took my walk later in the morning. It was so hot. I learned my lesson and will not be sleeping in tomorrow.
-
It’s been raining on and off all day, but I was still able to get a nice walk today. I also hit my protein goal!
-
Really felt like I got back on track today, made gym, walking, healthy eating my priority even though there were some major road blocks! Precooked my food for the week too!

Had a scary experience on my walk today. A loose dog came at us with his owner running behind but he went after one of my dogs. Which made the other one go crazy in defense of his brother. Fortunately the other dogs owner got him before anyone got hurt and a couple cars even stopped to offer help. I pulled my dogs away and we hurried up the…Read More

It was. But we had an uneventful walk today so a much better experience.

Guess who found their pedometer!! Great day of movement. Tomorrow we lift heavy.
-
I took my younger kids fishing for a while this afternoon. Didn’t catch anything worth keeping, but we had fun.
-
Great day today I got my steps in. I lit Ned to the latest next level podcast today and it was exactly what I needed to hear.
-
Glad to be finally out getting my steps. My oldest was sick last week and my husband and I picked it up this week. My steps weren’t too terrible, during the week, but they weren’t 10,000. Protein wasn’t reached either, but I was about 10-15 away from my goal. On my worst day I barely got 115g. Thanking God for a new day to tackle my goals and p…Read More

I’ve been slowly tearing out my kitchen over the last few weeks. Today was breaking up and removing the tile. I was mostly crawling around on my knees, but there were a lot of trips back and forth to the garbage bins. Step count was good. So was protein.

Lori Northcutt is
feeling Happy
Again I was ready to be ok with not getting my steps but I realized I just needed a short 20 minute walk. I did it
-
Did I get all my steps in? Yes.
Did I eat like an asshole? Also yes.Tomorrow is a new day, back to the normal habits.
I used to let one bad meal or day derail my whole week. I’m blessed at the work I’ve put in to get to that better head space of moving past it.
-
I love that great attitude. 1 meal does not need to get us of track

Good morning everyone!
I am attaching a list of affirmations (taken from my course The Self Love Blueprint). I am also adding the Affirmation Dissection worksheet that is part of the Your Greatest Life program. This is a 12 week LIVE coaching program that is set to begin in January. You can reach out to me privately (off this community) if you…Read More -
Wi got my 10k steps in yesterday and my workout was uninterrupted lol. I got some decent sets of heavy deadlifts in, in preparation for my meet. Hopefully I can get my bench numbers up as well.
-
Ended the day less than 10k steps unfortunately. Tomorrow is a new day!
-
Got my steps and my protein and participated in the great collective call today. What a day!
-
What an amazing call today! Thanks for showing up for those that did. Make sure to watch the call on replay and share your morning affirmation dissection in the chats. I lost my pedometer so I don’t know my steps but I did get my long night walk and feel certain I surpassed 10k today.
-
Loved the call today. I will share my morning affirmation when I have it.

-
I did not think I would get my outdoor walk and steps in today but my husband suggested we walk to pick up dinner. He walked home with it and I continued my walk until I got my steps in.
-
That is so wonderful he’s so supportive of this challenge. Great job!
-
-
Got an early morning walk in. The air was crisp and cool. Such great walking weather. 😍
-
Didn’t get the full 45 minute outdoor activity but I got 25 before I had to get ready for work!
-
Great day for steps! Protein was not quite. Getting better though. Almost at the half way point and I’m not where I want to be with it. Have to be more intentional with it.
-
Today did not go as planned. I did get my steps in, but my protein was off. By a lot. 🤷♀️

Soccer season is back, so that means I get my steps in while my son is at practice. 🙌🏽

This looks amazing!! I’m definitely going to be in attendance for this. I have a feeling it’s going to be one of those moments that changes the relationship I have with my own thoughts and mind!
-
I got over my 10k steps in today. My training for my meet really sucked. I kept getting call after call. Then I just lost 100% mood. Anyone else experience this? I can’t just not answer my calls
-
Those small distractions can really take us out of the zone. If you can train at a time where you are able to put your phone on silent mode, that would be best! Hopefully tomorrows training goes better, you got this Brad!
-
The worst! I have to schedule my work out super early in the morning because it is the only time I can do it. Otherwise, same as you. Life just gets in the way. And honestly, it is hard. It never gets easier to get up that early. But if that is not an option, maybe change your message while working out to say something like, “I’m working on…Read More

Steps in, protein in and I’m making sure I hit post. 😄

I almost forgot to post today. Had a busy day and I’m happy to get some sleep tonight.

I love listening to audio books when I walk. Sometimes it really encourages me to get walking so I can find out what happens next. Anyone else listen to books while you walk?
-
We’ve never tried listening to audio books, but that is a great idea! Share some of your favorites!
-
I listen to all different books. Atomic habits is a great listen. I am now listening to the Eragon series

Yesterday was the first day all august I hadn’t hit 10,000 steps. It was an emotionally super intense day at work and feeling such emotional fatigue that manifested in physical fatigue. I ended up taking a nap and just doing a bunch of self care.
But BECAUSE of that, I made sure the first moment I had this morning I went for a walk.
-
I did it again! Typed something for yesterday and didn’t hit post. Sigh. At least it saves the words for me.
I had a monster day today! 16,749. Can you believe it? I walked around the track at my daughter’s swim practice and even though it was hot, i just kept walking. It felt really good. But my protein not so good. I’m getting there though.
-
I got my 10k in yesterday thanks to 2 school open house for my kids. For some reason my daughter likes to run us from one end of her school to the other multiple times to go to all of her classes. I had a lot of windshield time yesterday so the extra trips back and forth through the school really helped lol
-
Last minute apartment circles before midnight to get that 10k!! I looked at my Fitbit and I was at 9988!! 😂😂

How is everyone loving the new challenge?
Biggest hurdles?
Biggest successes?3 Comments-
Thank you for the challenge. My biggest success is getting my husband to walk with me to the store instead of driving
-
Accountability! I don’t usually follow through this well on challenges even when I’m doing the behaviors. I really enjoy the simple checkin screen.
-
Biggest success is that i haven’t faltered on the steps once! Biggest challenge is the protein. But it is making me try. By the end of this I will be hitting it daily!
-

Thankfully my tetanus shot is up to date. Just have to keep an eye on it to make sure it heals well. My foot is still tender, but it feels good enough to walk on it. My kids and I went out on a walk to do a scavenger hunt for our science lesson.
-
-
absolutely beautiful! I have a saying that “you miss the magic when you sleep in”
-
I guess I didn’t hit Post yesterday because my post will still sitting her this morning!
So, I slept in and did not get out early enough and the dogs made me pay. The last 1/4 mile of our walk took about 30 min. Very dramatic dogs. Fortunately it isn’t supposed to be as hot this upcoming weekend. Hit my steps but faltered on the protein.
-
We are excited to enjoy some temperatures out of the 90s this week!
-
haha gotta love the dramatic dogs! Hoping you’re off to a good start this week!
