Finally back home after a very busy week traveling! My fiancé and I headed to Costco as soon as we got back to prep all our food for the week! Ready to get back on a normal routine!! No points today. Also decreased my cals just a bit! I never felt super hungry last week, even being in a deficit

I found that too some days this week! Maybe I’ll lower them a bit for Monday 🤔

Costco for the win! We have a major storm headed our way and I hit up Costco to make sure I had plenty of food to support my goals!

I love to make my own oat milk for my coffee to limit synthetic thickeners. For some reason I found out last time that it really helped me to lose weight by eliminating my creamer that has gums in it (silk) even tho I tracked it. So here we are! I also do a hemp milk sometimes! Also it’s hecka cheaper 😂😜
I just do 2 cups oats to 8 cups water a…Read More

So, it’s been 10 days following my calorie and protein goals and I think i need to make an adjustment. At the end of the day I feel exhausted, my bowels are doing funky things (stomach cramps, constipated, diarrhea) and my libido is non existent. I have lost a significant amount of weight for me (down about 5 lbs). Suggestions on what to tweak f…Read More

That’s a lot, you definitely shouldn’t be feeling like that. I’d maybe start with 100 calories per day ( that’s if some of the weight is water weight) if your protein is around a gram per lb I’d try upping your carbs for more energy
-
Yea you def need to increase! Shouldn’t be feeling that way, probably way too low!
-
I would definitely increase 100-150 calories. More in carbs if your protein is adequate.

To be honest, the only person I’m competing against here is myself. I don’t need to “win” the challenge – the win for me would be losing some weight and staying consistent and accountable overall. I like that this challenge is 8 weeks instead of 4. It feels more like a long haul instead of a temporary intensity!

That is one of my go-to snacks as well. I eat dairy free Greek yogurt with berries — and often throw some All Bran Buds on top for some crunch and extra fiber. It is Sooooo delicious.

The UI got weird here and I didn’t want to delete and start over, but I was going to add that my learning from the weekend is that I am a dumpster fire. Gotta work on that if I want to see progress.

Good job Diane! 💪🏼 I got tired of chicken and went to turkey wraps this week. They are quick and easy to throw together and they have been so yummy.
-
Thank you, Mandy! Yes, I will probably switch to turkey next week for something different. I can’t stomach the same lunch day in and day out for very long. Weirds me out lol.
-
-
Unpopular opinion but I don’t think I’ll ever get tired of chicken. Then again, I’ve never had to eat it like bodybuilders do. 😅
-
It’s the meal prepping, eating the same prepped food for days in a row as it slowly rots 😩
-
-
I actually love meal prepping 3 different meals and I just rotate them for lunches and dinners. Although I don’t like eating the same things in a row (like lunch and dinner).
