Brad will be going live today at 2pm MT! He will be discussing emotional eating. This topic pairs well with our current one treat challenge, so make sure to join us live!

Three of these are 60 calories. One of my favorite Trader Joe’s items. I bought them on Sunday and this is the first I’ve had any. It feels so good to have evidence that I don’t always overeat. That’s a story I told myself for a long time. That I have no self control, but I actually do! 🙌🏻
-
OK! I had a great day yesterday…so great that I forgot to post! I ate the most delicious Pumpkin Snickerdoodle. My daughter and I made them together so it was a fun experience as well. Today will be same. They are really good. And I made them the perfect size for a treat.
-
Today was a bite size scotcharoo again. I have an amazing adult autistic son and he ‘s currently really into making this treat. He could make it by himself if he had to, but he prefers we do it together and I’m happy to oblige. It was hard to eat just one today. This is the first day of the challenge that I’ve been just home and bored all day.…Read More

Yes! I love lazy days but I have a much harder time with my eating on those days.

My niece passed away suddenly about a year ago, today was her birthday. She would’ve been 24. My sister had a get together at the cemetery to release balloons and then visit and have lunch at the park right next to it. I did the food, so I made sure there were plenty of things I could eat. Another niece brought these yummy cheesecake bites she m…Read More

I’m so sorry about your niece. I love the get together to honor her for her birthday.

I forgot to post yesterday but didn’t forget my piece of candy! 😁 I enjoyed a nice Reece’s peanut butter cup after my hip hop class. Today was a kinda boring errand day but I enjoyed a nice fun size pack of peanut M&Ms.
-
We’ve been out of town and traveled home today so I don’t have any candy in the house yet. I had a tablespoon of chocolate chips, they were yummy. And even having been on vacation, I still had enough in my macros for them.
-
Skittles today. I forgot how much I like them! This has been a hoot so far. It is seriously amazing how much more in control I feel knowing I have a treat coming. I’m not sure it is my new meal plan forever but there is something to “allowing” yourself fun stuff while you are still in deficit. Just takes the pressure off a little. That…Read More

And guess what? I was just logging my skittles and they are only 60 calories! I could have had another 1/2 a fun size bag! 😃

I think the one treat challenge will be helpful in continuing to heal my relationship with food. I’m currently tracking and in a deficit and I’ve been amazed that it’s helped me feel less obsessed with food. I’ve spent so many years obsessing over and classifying food as good, bad, healthy, unhealthy, etc. Changing to tracking macros feels more li…Read More

Ok, I just watched the video and realized we’re supposed to post more about the experience. It’s been easy so far. Both treats so far were part of experiences with my kids. I was mindful of what I was eating and enjoying the experience and the treat. I love that I’ve been able to learn how to lose weight AND and still live my life. Thanks to coach…Read More

I haven’t attempted macros yet. Seems so overwhelming. But I am back to tracking with this challenge so I’m determined to do it until the end of the month at a minimum. I am also finding knowing I’m getting the treat makes me OK with just having this treat.
-
I took the plunge and invested in the one on one coaching to help me with macros. It’s been so good so far!
-

-
Made Scotcharoos (aka peanut butter rice krispy treats) with one of my kids. Cut myself one tiny square to eat for my one treat.
-
OK! Yesterday ended up being a Butterfinger. Today 100 Grand. Delicious!

Hey everyone! It’s not too late to start the One Treat Challenge! Join anytime and have some fun between now and Halloween. Here is an overview from Brad on why we are doing this challenge.

OK. I have not yet had my candy. I think I will wait until I get home since one of the things I have to deal with at work is a forever full candy bowl. It sits in the lobby for clients. But I’m in an adjacent building so when I have to go to the main building, I pass through the lobby. Sometimes I go over once per day. Sometimes 10. So I…Read More

Hello! I was curious if anyone had some insight.
I just did used the KN calculator and it says my deficit is 2100 calories! I’m currently eating 1600 (programmed from a KN coach). Wondering if I should start increasing my calories to then in a few months go back in a calorie deficit???
I’ve lost 20lb but probably have another 20-25 left to lose!!
-
Important to remember any calculator is just an algorithm and never an exact science. Glad you went to 1600. Depends on how long you have been in the deficit but if its been 4+ months then not a bad idea to go back to maintenance for 8-12 weeks then crush the rest starting in January!
-
Thank you! It’s been a little over 3 months so that might not be a bad plan! My cousin’s wedding is in March in Florida so I want to feel and look my best!

Today’s Gratitude lesson is up! What’s everyone grateful for today?

I’m sitting in the airport after a visit with my best friend. We have been friends for 40 years. That is incredible. I am very grateful to have found someone to be friends with for so long. Especially since we don’t live by each other anymore and have to make sure we make the time.

Still trying to keep to the 10,000 step count. I fell off for a few days, but I got back on yesterday. Happy to be on my morning walk this morning, thinking of all I’m grateful for. This morning I’m thankful for a PT that actually listened to me, pushed for me to get an MRI, and yesterday I got the results of what had been causing me pain for sev…Read More

I finished the challenge strong and got over 11000 steps everyday in August

I’m always so jealous of the pictures @aracely-niewenhuisgmail-com shows on her walks. My husband and daughter took me to this spot they found that is only 20 minutes from our house. Didn’t do my outdoor walk there today but I definitely will in the future.

Walked near these beauty’s this evening. I thought my walk was ruined because it began to rain as soon as we got to my daughters volleyball practice, but it eventually cleared up.

I’ve been really sick the last couple of days, but I got back to it today.
