  • Spent most of today at football games with my 10 year old. I got a walk in this morning before we left. Fall sports are in full swing and the next few weeks are going to be really busy for me. This is my favorite time of year.

  • I had a very busy day at work which meant a lot of sitting. I left work about 7000 steps. I went to my 2nd hip hop class which was so fun!   • Started my day again with a nice walk with my husband. I’m so glad that we are back on that routine. He doesn’t wake up as talkative as I do, but that is okay. Our evenings are full with our kids activities, so it’s nice to have that one on one time. Even if we are quiet most of the way and just holding hands.

  • Not sure how we got to Wednesday already! I missed posting yesterday but hit my protein and steps goals. I had to walk around the track at my daughter’s swim practice to get it done and it was HOT! But I did it and as the track goes around the pool got to watch practice so a fun walk.

  • My kids started school today. Yesterday we did our best to fit in some fun stuff and then got things ready for today. I checked steps last night, saw I had over 10,000 and promptly fell asleep. So I missed posting here. 🤷‍♀️

  • A great Sunday! Walked the dogs, enjoyed the nice weather and the had a lazy rest of the day interrupted only by the 48 loads of laundry I had. 😳. How 3 people generate so much laundry just baffles me. Here’s to a great week everyone!!!

  • Had a scary experience on my walk today. A loose dog came at us with his owner running behind but he went after one of my dogs. Which made the other one go crazy in defense of his brother.   • I’ve been slowly tearing out my kitchen over the last few weeks. Today was breaking up and removing the tile. I was mostly crawling around on my knees, but there were a lot of trips back and forth to the garbage bins. Step count was good. So was protein.

  • Did I get all my steps in? Yes.
    Did I eat like an asshole? Also yes.

    Tomorrow is a new day, back to the normal habits.

    I used to let one bad meal or day derail my whole week. I’m blessed at the work I’ve put in to get to that better head space of moving past it.
