Day 17! Grinding away, loving the walks outside! Started a tad late today but getting everything done!
Have a great weekend guys!! -
It’s a good thing we are not counting steps in the 30 minute walk outside. Hiked today with my best tiny hiking buddy. He will be 2 in two weeks and he did his longest hike yet!

Hey guys – I wanted to share something with you all today
I had a conversation with a dear friend of mine this AM and..
When you do the internal work..
You start to be more present
And when you become more present
– you start to notice the beauty right in front of youYou start to find reasons to be grateful in the smallest of…Read More

My boss gave us this gift. We talked a lot today about gratitude and being humble today. Our CEO definitely leads by example.

Apparently the June Gloom we get in Northern California has come early!
Got my walk in even though it was CHILLLLLY.

I love a nice chilly day, though! haha I am not ready for the summer

Ok usually SAME but I was just not prepared this day nor was I properly dressed 😂

Finishing up day 16. I had made the decision earlier today to not walk outside because of a heavy storm, but it passed so off I went to get in my walk with Dani. I am so glad that I got the walk in, it really helps clear my head after a long day, even if I am listening to my child plot to catch snakes to keep as pets.

I feel the same way about a long nice walk – it helps me feel so much better about my day!

It’s been a long day, and I’m ready for bed. But day 16 is done! 😊

Well, I’m just getting home from an extra long ass miserable day with OT from work. Definitely will have some zeroes. But I’ll get in what I can before I keel over asleep. 😴

Day 16 complete, another good day. feel great when i complete 80% in my early mornings. it is becoming a routine.
Hope everyone had a great day!1 Comment-
I love that – completing 80% early on, makes it an easy routine!

Having a great day! I just need one more thing to complete todays checklist. This morning I finished the last workout for the 4 day split. I need to figure which workout plan I want to do next.

Yesterday almost took me out, guys. Difficult conversations are my least favorite thing, and there were many of them. I’m a pretty upbeat person, but that day I woke up grouchy and filled with all kinds of negative emotions.
What’s funny though, even when in my mind the lat thing I wanted to do was all the challenge tasks (especially the gra…Read More4 Comments-
Love This!! I have had one or two myself of those days. In the end it is rewarding knowing you finished anyway, regardless of the situations that occurred.

We don’t rise to our goals, we fall to our systems. This is such a testament to having good systems in place to fall on, on our less desirable days!

Well y’all I failed day 15. I didn’t get my reading in. I got so busy and then fell asleep on the couch last night. Life has been crazy and I was exhausted. The great thing is that I’m not gonna just throw in the towel and give up. I started again today and gonna crush this day! Happy day 16!!!! Let’s goooooo!

You are so amazing!! The same thing happened to me with the meditation last night. I try to do it before bed to help my brain relax and I fell asleep before I even did it!!

The good thing is that you can just keep going. Remember it’s a marathon not a sprint. It’s about creating habits and not just for 30 days but well beyond.

Another beautiful sunrise this morning!
Starting this day off right with a lovely walk. Have a great day everyone!2 Comments -
Long day for my work retreat but so thankful for this time with my team and the fellowship. No walk today but a few of us are getting up early to go for a walk in the morning.

Day 15, I am grateful for the process of gratitude and how it does make me consider and approach things differently, especially in my relationships!

Day 15 done! My younger boys both had baseball games tonight so it was a little later than usual when I finally
made it home. Thankfully I had finished almost everything before they came home from school. I just needed to post here and drink my last 20 ounces of water, which I did during the games. Made it half way with 100%. The first time I…Read More -

Finishing up day 15. My kid holds me accountable to the walks in the evening. I’ll getting used to finishing my showers cold every morning and meditating at night before bed. I walked around the office park where I work for a bit this afternoon then came home and walked more at the park down the street.

Day 14 for me as I started a day late. In the past when I’ve tried this challlenge, I “failed” early then stopped. This time there is no “failing”. Most days I’ve done everything, but some days have some blank boxes. Every day is a new day in which I will do my best to complete all the tasks. At the end I will tally up my “score” which will give…Read More

Day 15, was a good day even tho it was a later start. i still have my reading to do but just finished my walk and water and gratitude journal. I did morning meditations and a cold shower and that left no time for reading or gratitude.

Got my walk in before it started to pour. Now I’m just waiting for my sons practice to end so we can eat dinner. I made the Korean bowl that is under recipes. The meat was so easy and quick to cook before we had to leave.

That’s how to start the day. Walked to the walking trail, short meditation and walked back home.

Day 15!
Yesterday was very hot during my walk, but got it done! The cold shower felt gooood after that!
I’ve been using timers for completing tasks of the challenge like the shower and meditation, and I’ve started doing that same thing for tasks while I’m working, and it has made my work day much more productive and focused!2 Comments-
I’ve always thought of trying the timer! Maybe I’ll have to take some of your advice 😂

Baby girl born just a little while ago!! Today was long, and so ready to meditate and head to bed. Goodnight everyone!

Day 14 is done! I usually do my reading, gratitudes, and meditation in the morning after my walk and cold shower but this morning I was running late. Almost forgot to circle back and finish but remembered as I crawled into bed. So I got up and got it done.
-
Happy day 14 everyone!!
I am almost done with everything (just need to do my meditation which will happen when I go upstairs for bed!) and made sure to prep my lunch & dinner since Wednesday’s are my LONG day!

Setting yourself up for success! We hope you crush your busy day today.

Out too late last night, but took the struggle bus on my walk today. Haha

Headed to a management retreat for the next few days for work . Told my coworkers to pack their shoes so we can go for a walk. They’re all in! I hope everyone had a great day today.

That’s awesome! Maybe you’ll influence them to continue the habits after your retreat. Way to be an example Kristi!

24 hours with no nicotine. I can go one more day.

Day 14 – another snake on my walk, my kid wanted to bring it home and name it Danger Noodle 🤦♀️🤦♀️
We’re 2 weeks in and I’ve had a couple of shortfalls but I pick myself up and keep going.

Day 14 complete.
A long day, but a good day. i find doing most of the stuff in the morning gives me my best results. wake up, meditation, read, cold shower, then coffee and journal. the water starts as soon as i wake but a gallon is not an issue. The going to the washroom every 15 mins is lol. OH my.
The walk i fit in when i can but…Read More -
Prior to this challenge, my water goal was 80 oz which I could hit with just a little effort. I thought I’d never hit the gallon consistently. Well, I feel like the more I drink, the thirstier I am. 😂 Most days, it doesn’t take much extra effort to get the gallon in.

Days are flying by now, and some tasks are so easy now, and oddly enough others seem to be more of a hassle haha. I think that’s natural when life gets busy, which is why daily reminders are important!
-
Day 14! Almost half way there and it feels like the last 2 weeks have flown by. Make sure and crush this day. Have a great one! Make it count!!! 🙌🏼

Day 13 is a wrap! Been doing great with these commitments, and everything is going great, just need to work on my nutrition. Will be welcoming a new sibling sometime this week hopefully, so will keep you posted on that! Let’s embrace tomorrow and wake up with gratitude. Goodnight and proud of you all!!
-
Lucky 13 is done! Water is finally getting easier, it felt like it took me a really long time to get used to having a full gallon each day. My body is pretty happy at about 80 ounces but before starting the challenge it had been a while since I’ve tracked my water, I must have really been slacking!
-
Day 13 – no rain today so we walked at the park after work then came home and cooked dinner. My youngest is vegan so we are learning to cook plant based meals that I add chicken to in order to boost my protein. I hope everyone else is having a great day!
-
Got our walk done this afternoon. The weather has been beautiful here in Washington state. Day 13 ✅

Wasn’t sure I was going to get a walk in today. Long day of work, got a workout in at home. Then I ended up having time for a walk. I only had 80 oz of water when I got home from work at 6pm. So I chugged some water and I got my gallon in by 8:30. That better not back fire in the middle of the night lol.

One of the reasons I joined the collective was for accountability so here it is. Tomorrow is going to be my first day off nicotine in quite some time. I’ve smoked, dipped, vaped, or had nicotine pouches for 13 years without missing a day. One of my best friends died a few weeks before he turned 21 and the last time I saw him we shared a pinch…Read More

Thank you or being vulnerable with us Austin! Keep posting to hold yourself accountable and we will cheer you on and checkin with you. Not just 1 year from now, but also 5 years, 10 years, 20 years you will remember this moment. You’ve got this, we believe in you!

Your future self will be so grateful that you took this leap. While it will probably be rough for a while not, it will have monumental payoffs later. You got this!

That’s awesome! I quit smoking years ago, and I remember someone telling me I’d always remember my quit date. To be honest, I’m not totally sure what year it was, let alone the month or the day. But when I got past the withdrawal and then changed the habit I’ve never regretted it. Good luck! Keep us posted.

Ahhhh. Thanks for sharing this! I relate to this sooo much. I’m (almost!!) three years in sobriety and WISH I quit nicotine at the same time. I quit nicotine almost three months ago, and after about a month it got a lot easier!
I so, so relate to the “I don’t want to be a slave to anything” and truly think it’s so powerful to say I’m not doing t…Read More

Day 13
Loving the morning meditation. I am feeling it sets me up with a better vibe in the mornings. Finally back to the gym so a great Monday. Tweaked my back a couple weeks ago. All good and back at it.
restarted the training with brad.
Lets go and finish the day Strong -
My workplace is doing a little fitness challenge this week. There are 9 boxes to be checked off of fitness-y things to do at work. So my walk today started with 2 laps around the building. One box checked off. ✅ Didn’t think to get a picture at the time.

Monday and ready for a great week! I find myself reading 8-10 pages now, and I didn’t even realize how easy it is to pick up my book now. That was a HUGE struggle before, and suddenly it’s so simple…I was amazed. I’m so thankful for this challenge!

Another day, another soccer field. I completed my walk and read more than 5 pages of my book, wrote several things I am grateful for, and I still have 40 minutes to burn.
As I’m typing this, my daughter sends me a text telling me that dinner will be ready when we get home. Adding this to my grateful list for the day: thankful to have a teen d…Read More
