Prior to this challenge, my water goal was 80 oz which I could hit with just a little effort. I thought I’d never hit the gallon consistently. Well, I feel like the more I drink, the thirstier I am. 😂 Most days, it doesn’t take much extra effort to get the gallon in.

Days are flying by now, and some tasks are so easy now, and oddly enough others seem to be more of a hassle haha. I think that’s natural when life gets busy, which is why daily reminders are important!
-
Day 14! Almost half way there and it feels like the last 2 weeks have flown by. Make sure and crush this day. Have a great one! Make it count!!! 🙌🏼
-
Day 13 is a wrap! Been doing great with these commitments, and everything is going great, just need to work on my nutrition. Will be welcoming a new sibling sometime this week hopefully, so will keep you posted on that! Let’s embrace tomorrow and wake up with gratitude. Goodnight and proud of you all!!
-
Lucky 13 is done! Water is finally getting easier, it felt like it took me a really long time to get used to having a full gallon each day. My body is pretty happy at about 80 ounces but before starting the challenge it had been a while since I’ve tracked my water, I must have really been slacking!
-
Day 13 – no rain today so we walked at the park after work then came home and cooked dinner. My youngest is vegan so we are learning to cook plant based meals that I add chicken to in order to boost my protein. I hope everyone else is having a great day!
-
Got our walk done this afternoon. The weather has been beautiful here in Washington state. Day 13 ✅
-
-
Wasn’t sure I was going to get a walk in today. Long day of work, got a workout in at home. Then I ended up having time for a walk. I only had 80 oz of water when I got home from work at 6pm. So I chugged some water and I got my gallon in by 8:30. That better not back fire in the middle of the night lol.

Journal prompt for tomorrow and meditation!
Journal prompt:
1. In what areas of my life could I slow down a little? To be more present
2. In what ways have I grown over the last year?Guided meditation:

One of the reasons I joined the collective was for accountability so here it is. Tomorrow is going to be my first day off nicotine in quite some time. I’ve smoked, dipped, vaped, or had nicotine pouches for 13 years without missing a day. One of my best friends died a few weeks before he turned 21 and the last time I saw him we shared a pinch…Read More

Thank you or being vulnerable with us Austin! Keep posting to hold yourself accountable and we will cheer you on and checkin with you. Not just 1 year from now, but also 5 years, 10 years, 20 years you will remember this moment. You’ve got this, we believe in you!
-
Your future self will be so grateful that you took this leap. While it will probably be rough for a while not, it will have monumental payoffs later. You got this!
-
That’s awesome! I quit smoking years ago, and I remember someone telling me I’d always remember my quit date. To be honest, I’m not totally sure what year it was, let alone the month or the day. But when I got past the withdrawal and then changed the habit I’ve never regretted it. Good luck! Keep us posted.
-
Ahhhh. Thanks for sharing this! I relate to this sooo much. I’m (almost!!) three years in sobriety and WISH I quit nicotine at the same time. I quit nicotine almost three months ago, and after about a month it got a lot easier!
I so, so relate to the “I don’t want to be a slave to anything” and truly think it’s so powerful to say I’m not doing t…Read More

Day 13
Loving the morning meditation. I am feeling it sets me up with a better vibe in the mornings. Finally back to the gym so a great Monday. Tweaked my back a couple weeks ago. All good and back at it.
restarted the training with brad.
Lets go and finish the day Strong -
My workplace is doing a little fitness challenge this week. There are 9 boxes to be checked off of fitness-y things to do at work. So my walk today started with 2 laps around the building. One box checked off. ✅ Didn’t think to get a picture at the time.
-
Monday and ready for a great week! I find myself reading 8-10 pages now, and I didn’t even realize how easy it is to pick up my book now. That was a HUGE struggle before, and suddenly it’s so simple…I was amazed. I’m so thankful for this challenge!

Another day, another soccer field. I completed my walk and read more than 5 pages of my book, wrote several things I am grateful for, and I still have 40 minutes to burn.
As I’m typing this, my daughter sends me a text telling me that dinner will be ready when we get home. Adding this to my grateful list for the day: thankful to have a teen d…Read More

For Mother’s Day, my youngest son gave me a stomach bug. So no walk. But at least I was hydrated.
-
Oh no I am so sorry!! I hope you get feeling better! It isn’t about what happens to us, but how we choose to respond!
-
Oh I hope you fell better! At least he has learned the art of sharing I guess lol

My day was going quite well and then went to crap rather quickly. Around 9:30 I realized I still had about 40 oz of water to go and decided that tonight I’d rather have to get up several times throughout the night to use the bathroom than let this freaking day mess up my steak. 12 days done.

Hope everyone had a lovely Sunday. I got to spend sometime outside, spent some time with my son and both my girls that don’t live at home sent me a txt. Mother’s Day is always a weird feeling day. I have 3 beautiful kids here on earth, one in heaven. I have a strained relationship with my Mom. We just aren’t close. My husband isn’t great at plan…Read More

This is so relatable. My husband has a strained relationship with his mom, so avoids any talk of mother’s day. When my kids were young and unable to do things for me on their own I always felt so much disappointment. I had to teach myself to have zero expectations. But you know what, happy mother’s day! You are a great mom. 🤎

Great mindset to come in with, accepting things for how they are but also looking for the good!

Hey all! I am going to start posting daily journal prompts and meditations!
Here is today’s centered around self love!
What do I love about myself?
What unhealthy habits would I like to let go of?
What would I like to replace them with?Guided meditation:

Day 12- Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas!! Broke my walk into chunks between downpours. Getting it all done here. My middle child texted me, he’s not very expressive. My oldest called multiple time and she and he kids wished me a happy day. My youngest is spending the summer with me and we cooked chickpea and red pepper bulger bowls tog…Read More

Happy Mother’s Day everyone! I hope all the moms got to be with their kids, all the daughters/sons got to see their moms, & all the individuals who find Mother’s Day difficult get some peace today. ❤️
For my outdoor walk, I walked with my mom. Which felt so special since I haven’t spent mothers day with her in 10years!
-
What does everyone do for meditation? I use guided meditations because otherwise my brain does cartwheels while I’m trying to focus. I use 2 apps… Insight Timer and Abide. I also want to learn a whole lot more about breath work.

I hope everyone had a wonderful Mother’s Day. Ours had a rocky start but my kids and I pivoted and it ended up turning out to be a pretty good day for my wife.
-
Went on a walk with my loves this morning! Feeling especially thankful for having my family.
Happy Mother’s Day everyone!!! -
Happy Sunday and happy Mother’s Day to all the Mothers out there!!
Just finished my walk and now at the gym. Let’s crush this week! -
Day 12 is under way! Happy Mother’s Day to all the mamas out there. This day is a really hard day for some people so I try to be respectful and I pray for all the women out there who have lost their moms, lost their children, can’t get pregnant, lost pregnancies, etc.
I’m blessed to be able to spend time with my daughter today, but my son i…Read More

Day 11 done. It’s finally warming up so the outdoor walks are my favorite part of the day!

Today was beautiful in Salt Lake. Can’t wait for all the warm weather ahead!
-
The warmer the weather gets & the later the sun is out, the walks just keep getting better & better I swear!

Today was a rough one. Messed up my nutrition and felt everything falling off. Going to work harder tomorrow, as it’s a new day and a new chance to do better. Who else will be seeing the Aurora tonight?
-
We are staying up and hoping to see it! We missed it last night and won’t miss it again.
Also, just get back on your feet tomorrow. Don’t let today discourage you. You got this!

Today was great until it wasn’t. Parenting teens is hard. It’s hard when they screw up and you’re angry and disappointed in them. It’s hard to watch them be disappointed in themselves too. But all is fine and tomorrow is a new day.

Tomorrow is a new day is right. Not everyday is going to go smoothly, and that’s ok! As long as we get back on track. You got this!

Spent another day watching my favorite soccer player and walking around the soccer field. Watching him score a goal
was the cherry on top.
Today was a very busy day. I’m looking forward to a slower Sunday at church and and then having dinner with friends. -
Day 11 was a wonderful day! Was up early and started my day with gratitude, meditation and reading. Then we headed to Home Depot by 7am to get potting soil and a new Traeger for my hubby! Planted my garden and a lot more! Feeling so grateful today and each day that passes! I am so blessed!
-
I was one of the sweeps for the final 8 mile segment of a 37.2 mile trail race. For the first time, tonight that cold shower actually felt GOOD.
-
Day 11 — all that is left is my meditation. My youngest holds me accountable to the walks, I told her that if you walk far enough at the park near my apartment you can reach a lake and I think she wants to make it to the lake. This week is coming together beautifully and I don’t think I’ve genuinely smiled this much in years.

That four day advanced split is no joke. One week in and feeling pretty sore but loving it!

Happy Saturday yall!
The last week has ROCKED me so hard. From being out of town and being emotional dysregulated to having a horrific migraine to just a few emotional days at work (I work in community mental health), but I woke up this morning and just got RIGHT back on it today because I know know I need to!

Yesssss girl! So proud of you! Way to get back at it and for recognizing that you’re so worth it. You’ve come a long way and you’re gonna crush the rest of this challenge. No throwing in the towel. WE ALL got your back! 💜🙏🏼🙌🏼

If your head isn’t in the right place, you can still put your feet in the right place.
A motto of mine that has served me well!

This week’s been so much better than the previous several. It ended with my doctor giving me the green light to start getting back to normal since surgery, I sold 2 jobs this week totaling $127,000 and change which is about half of what I need to make up for the time I’ve been down, and as nerdy as it sounds my oldest son Donny and I went to go…Read More

Here we go!! Happy Saturday everyone. Have a fantastic one -
It’s late, but I just finished my meditation and now day 10 is done!

Happy day 10 yall!
Today’s walk took everything out of me to do, but holy wow do I feel so much better doing it!
-
Day 10- it’s 11 pm and I’m about to read, meditate, and journal. I spent the day driving from Flagstaff to Dallas bringing my youngest home from college and broke my walk into 5 minute chunks every time we stopped for gas, food, or potty breaks. I’m home now and going to drink some more water while I finish out my evening.

I got my walk in today during my sons soccer game. It was a close game, so I paced up and down the field.

I’ve never been a great sleeper. I have a hard time falling asleep, I’m a light sleeper and wake up frequently. However there may be something to this meditation thing. I think it’s helping me sleep better. I’ve found that nights when I meditate before bed I sleep better. I think it’s helping just quiet the brain. For this I am thankful.…Read More

I’m also a light sleeper, and those cured products really help me out too. I also have a cooling bluetooth sleep mask that was a game changer for me.

Yesterday was a long hot mess of a day. I had a few zeroes and even forgot to post here. But I didn’t make it mean anything and today got 100% done with time to spare. Day 9 done. ✅
